The Staff

The first company, Mach1, began its activity in 1987 in a room of about 250 square meters at Ciampino Airport, to then expand in 1991 into a hangar of about 1500 square meters and take the name of Mach Aviation.

In 2005, the company moved out of Ciampino Airport as the business expanded: the company entirely manages wheel and brake maintenance for Air One, with a fleet of around 90 aircraft.

The Organization has chosen the headquarters in Cecchina as a crossroads between the airports of Fiumicino, Ciampino and the military one of Pratica di Mare.

The new Mach Aviation headquarters was inaugurated in 2006, after receiving authorization from ENAC.

In 2016, the Mach Aviation facility was completely modernized to meet the management and processing needs of Honeywell’s manufacturing services.

In 2018, Mach Logistics was born at the Mach Aviation headquarters, a wheeled transport company in Italy and Europe. Thanks to Mach Logistics, today Mach Aviation can organize the transport, collection and delivery of materials for contract customers and third parties.
